I woke up at 5am today (oh whats up, pregnancy life?) and obviously the only logical thing to do when you can't sleep is design your baby shower invitation. Duh. My sister in law is throwing the shower for me and I am so thankful for her!! Most of my close friends live out of state so for a while I was convinced I wouldn't even have a shower because I wasn't going to throw myself one, I would feel so weird! When she was like "I want to do your shower!" I almost died of happiness! Seriously, the Shiflet family is the best family in the world. I'm convinced!!
Also fun fact, the font I used for my name on the invite is called the name I want to name baby girl! So if you're a font wizard, then you'll know what name I picked (and I am still actively trying to convince Jason that it's the best name ever haha) Obviously did that on purpose because sentimental :). These are so beautiful! Girl, you NEED a shower. Even if "need" isn't in the sense that you think. You NEED to memories. All those people celebrating with you. That's what you need to have and look back on. I will admit it's hella overwhelming. Everyone gawking at teeny tiny onesies and socks. You'll hear enough "awes" to last a lifetime, but it's a wonderful feeling to have people come and celebrate this special time with you! (:

Thank you Susy!! I know, it's a tricky font but I love it! :) and yes it is on July 9th, that is awesome! Happy early birthday :) So my two best friends are both pregnant right now, too and live out of state and will have their babies right before me so they won't be able to travel here. But there will still be some really great people there that I am so excited to see!
