Hey! So you guys, it is MID October, almost November, ALMOST DECEMBER and what does the radio spit out today?
"We cooled down this weekend in the 90's but back up to the 100's this week with record breaking temps on Wednesday for October"
Yes, Arizona is breaking a record this week for highest temperature in October SINCE 1980!! (I just googled it so that's not even exaggerated) Is that not slightly nuts to anyone else? Also, yeah in Arizona 90's is cooling down. Anywhere else, 90's is "record breaking heat!!" I'm not mad, don't even worry, just kind of like, what is going on? Arizona is a little bipolar when it comes to seasons. First it's chilly and then it's hades hot and then it's breaking records. And then it's raining? What? I don't know. I also only know what fall is thanks to our Utah trip last week. Prior to that fall was only something I had seen on TV or read about in fairy tales (k I'm kidding, I've lived in snow, just being dramatic over here)
Anyways, point is I'm trying to be all cute and basic and fall-y but it's difficult when I'm sweating in all my cute "fall" clothes. THANKFULLY I have Wren + Ivroy over here to help me look a little more fall appropriate without dying of heat. I love this charcoal shirt with the leather sleeves and yes I do feel edgy when I wear it bc leather. I call this my "fall in Arizona look" because I still have wintery/fall dark colors going on but the short sleeves to keep me cool. If you can say that isn't a win win then you might be crazy. These are exactly the kind of fall clothes I need! It was 94 yesterday in Houston and my brain can't wrap around wearing shorts in mid-October! Gasp, the horror.

DeleteI absolutely love all these leather accent sleeve pieces that are coming out. I so need to get my hands on some!! It is still in the 80's here in Bama.....so I feel you on trying to dress season appropriate with the hot weather.

DeleteOmg this stupid fall weather!! It's like 93 today, and I was getting so frustrated this morning getting dressed, I'm so tired of wearing shorts!! I'm over it!! All I want in the world is like a nice 70 degree day and a button up shirt!! But anyways..end rant, this is super cute. I would wear this in a heartbeat and feel totally cooler than I really am.
