Crown braids for days

I love crown braids. They look like they are hard to do but really they are SO EASY. And perfect when you decide washing your hair is just plain overrated.  Because it totally is. Who even washes their hair anymore?? (jk guys I do, please be my friend still)

Anyways, IT IS FRIDAY. TGIF am I right? This week flew by for me (thank heavens). Which means only 7 more days till we go up to Utah. Mostly that trip is what I am living for because J & I get to visit my best friend, Shaney + her husband Christian. Seriously they are the best people.

 Utah actually has seasons (because Arizona kind of skips seasons but it's cool) So like, fall will be nice to see and all the leaves and I'm sure I'll see a good handful of basic girls running around in boots and scarves with fresh pumpkin spice lattes in hand. I've never even had one before, I literally just googled how to spell latte.

In other news I just got these extensions and they are coming today and I can't even wait. I've heard soooooo many good things about Laced hair extensions!! You probably don't even care but I'm just soooo excited to get them, you don't even know!!

K I'll leave you with a funny work story. :)

So I'm a receptionist and I get a lot of random calls from solicitors trying to sell our company their services. Here's how it went:

*Phone rings*

Sales guy: Well hello! This is Dave with a company. How are you today!!!?

Me: I'm good thanks, how are you?

Sales guy: Well I, wow, I am so glad you asked that, you'd be surprised how rare it is for people to ask me that. I'm doing so great. Wow thank you so much for asking, so polite!!

*proceeds to try to sell me something our company doesn't need.*

*transfers him to someone else because he won't take no for an answer*

Literally 5 minutes later

*Phone rings*

Sales guy: Well hello! This is Dave with a company. How are you today!!!?

Me: Um I'm good thanks, how are you?

Sales guy: WOW. Well gosh, thank you so much for asking that! You'd be surprised how rare it is for people to ask me that. You are the *FIRST* one to even ask me that today! Thank you, wow, so polite!!!!!!!!!!!!"

*proceeds to try to sell me something our company doesn't need.*

Me: Um haha uh I think you just called here about 5 minutes ago actually, remember I transfered you to ****?"

Sales guy: Oh uh ya know what? Yeah, I do remember that! Your company must have multiple listings in the white pages, I'm sorry. You have a blessed day.

hahah so yeah. There you go! I promise I was polite when I told him he already called. I get calls like that a lot where people try to sweeten me up and act like we're pals before the try to hook and sink in some sale. It's great. And I really do like my job :) it makes for some entertaining stories!
