Mexico diaries day 4&5

Day 4!

our 1 and only picture snorkeling together apparently sans snorkels.

We all got really sunburnt (except Ashley, she is just tan!) and we left our sunscreen at the restaurant on accident so this is J hiding from the sun hahaha So day 4 we woke up & went to eat at wrecked at the reef! We literally waited 2 hours to get our food and we were the first ones there for lunch! It was kinda crazy and I was getting antsy because all I wanted to do was go to the beach and snorkel! My legs got burnt pretty bad on day 3 so I pretty much sat on the beach for the most part with my legs covered while the boys went spear fishing some more. 

After fishing, Jason and I went snorkeling and we saw cute little fishys swimming all over the place and sting rays! Sting rays are so cool and I wish they weren't jerks when they get scared because I would have picked it up. I dunno, I just think they're the coolest things. 

We got mangos of course!! Seriously they cut the mangos so fast, I was at the store the other day and I was so tempted to buy a mango and try to cut it how they do. Buttttt then I realized that me and knives usually end bad and I would probably end up with a cut or two.  (or 10)

Day 5!

there were 2 empty beer bottles on the table we picked (yup at wrecked at the reef again haha) so Ash didn't drink that, we just posed real quick and that happened to be her prop. This was our last day so the morning was spent cleaning up, packing the car, and headed to the beach before we left Mexico.

I got this drink called Miami Vice! You probably already know what that is but I ordered a pina colada mixed with strawberry daiquiri and apparently its "formal" name is Miami Vice. it was so good! I will never order a plain pina colada again. ever.

I brought a sun hat and I finally wore it! my hair was a mess pretty much the entire trip so I had to get a picture finally wearing my hat. ps i got it from nordstrom rack!

The boys caught fish!! They were beginning to gut it and then decided to just leave the fish in Mexico because driving home with fish in the car for 4 hours didn't sound very appealing. So during spear fishing Tanner's gopro fell off (he was wearing a head strap) and so now there is a gopro somewhere in the ocean with some of their pictures and videos on it. So sad!! Luckily they got all of their pictures from the other days off of the gopro and onto a computer before it got lost.

So yeah! This wraps up the Mexico diaries! It was honestly a much needed trip and we had such a fun time! Especially going with friends! I would seriously recommend it to everyone holy crap. We might be going back in July and that would obviously be a dream come true!!
