So... I was thinking.
I know peeps sell their blog design skills to design other peeps blogs.
Well, I designed my whole blog and all the buttons.
with lots of research and some help with photoshop, I did dat!
hah Anyways, I was thinking, what if I offered to design other peeps blogs?
Is that even cool?
Or design buttons for cheepskis, like 5 bones.
and when I say bones, I mean these kind--> $$
I dunno! it's been on my mind lately.
What do you kids think?

ReplyDeleteDo it! I think that's awesome and I wish I had those skills (having photoshop would be a great start I guess). And I think $5 is very reasonable.
ReplyDeletego for it! $5 is reasonable and even if you only slightly know photoshop, that's a lot compared to regular people who are mostly afraid of it.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great idea! I want to learn how to do my own design, and the fact that you taught yourself should be applauded. Also, I think keeping it inexpensive is the key! I know I don't want to pay $50 to have a blog designed!
ReplyDeleteYou should - your design is gorgeous! And I think $5 is cheap for a button, but I think it makes sense to start off cheap and then at certain increments (like every 3 customers) raise your price. Because you have increased experience and knowledge.
ReplyDeleteI think that there's nothing stopping your from offering your services! I taught myself basic button and (VERY basic) blog design and I think you should market those skills! I don't know if I'd pay $5 to get a blog button because I know how to make one myself, but I'd definitely be in the market to buy blog design from someone. (Obviously for more than $5, ha!) Do it!

ReplyDeleteFigured I'd try and (somewhat) balance out the male-female ratio by throwing a comment out. Haha. I think your design is great! Obviously it's feminine, as it should be, but it just goes to show what you can do. And if I could pay someone lunch money to have a sweet new look for my website, or even some good-looking buttons, I would do it. As someone already said, most people don't have the guts to dive into Photoshop so you already have a leg up!
