Selfie at work because my life is work at all times.
SO I think I might just slow it down. Blogging 3 times a week was my goal and something I tried SO HARD to do, even if it meant stressing and putting it before more important things to get it done. But yeah, I think I need to break up with that schedule for now and just blog when possible because right now it just ain't working out. It's totally me, it's not you blogger. You guys, blogging takes up so much time! Then the commenting and maintaining relationships with like a million other people. I love it but that isn't time I have to spare right now. I want to do more outfit posts in the future (they're actually my favorite because well, I love clothes and stuff) and more lifestyle stuff (like what I already do so I guess that isn't a goal) And I want to vlog more!! But that all takes so much time!!

But yeah, last week and this week and I'm sure the weeks to come, blogging has just been another chore to fill. I don't want blogging to be a chore!! I want it to be fun and something I love and all that crap so a break (aka slowing down) is really a must.

DeleteI totally relate to this. Blogging always gets pushed to the back burner simply because it's the only thing that isn't on a deadline for me. You deserve a break girlfriend! Enjoy it and come back when you're ready!

DeleteI totally feel you! I love my little blog but some weeks are just harder to find the time to sit down and write. I'd hate to end up frustrated and resenting my blog. You do what you gotta do! Your readers will always be there to read what you've written when you've got the time! xo

DeleteI agree! Blogging takes up so much more time than people realize. It's a lot more than just writing down some words. Sometimes I go through months with just a few posts and sometimes I can post multiple times a week. It really just depends on life and what's going on. I try to keep it up until it starts to feel like work and is no longer fun, then I take a break and can come back to it with a fresh attitude. Definitely don't be a slave to the blog. Breaks are great! Enjoy the holidays!

I know personally I should have been doing a million more things today but I put writing a post before everything else and I'm going to pay for it. My life's falling apart but I always feel this little pressure that I have to keep up but really...I don't lol. No one cares about our blogs as much as we do lol. So take your time girl, but DO NOT stop altogether or I'll miss you. I've been having a hard time the last couple of weeks keeping up with commenting and reading other blogs and all that, and I start my posts in the morning so I end up not getting them published until almost 11am. Maybe it's just the holidays.
