Back to school, back to school...

School started up 2 weeks ago! First day of class Jason was like "Why didn't you ask to take a first day of school picture yet??" That  kid knows my thoughts before I even have time to spew them into the open! So we took a back to school picture for him. He let me pick out his outfit even! I was dressed like a mess at the time of this mini photoshoot so I opted to take a picture in the school bathroom as sneakily as I could. I was waiting and waiting for those people behind me to leave so I could selfie in peace but then more people would come in as SOON as the others would leave. So I opted for a sneaky picture where I couldn't smile or else they might know what I was doing and I would feel dumb. 

Rewind a little.
I got ready in the morning, curled my hair, the usual. Oh and then my curling iron just went ahead and touched my neck for .000001 seconds. Which, of course, resulted in a big red hickey shaped circle, the size of a quarter, right in the perfect spot that you can't hide with your hair, a shirt, or necklace. So yeah first day first impressions. I'm great at those. ps it JUST healed finally.

As soon as I got to school I got kind of excited because as much as I hate school, I LOVE SCHOOL. Soooooooooo yeah I was excited to be back and bummed I wasn't able to sign up for more classes due to my crazy person schedule.  I park across the street at the LDS institute building because there is ALWAYS good parking and campus ALWAYS has crappy parking (probably because I leave myself exactly 2 minutes to get to class so all the good spots are taken, oops) Anyways, I was in the cross walk and some guy and girl were in front of me chatting and then all of a sudden the guy turns around and goes
boy-  "Hey wanna go get lunch with me?" 

me- "Uhhhh I have class sorry........."

boy-  *turns back around* "EVERYONE IS TOO BUSY TO GET LUNCH UGH"

me- *silently keeps walking and slows pace so I could distance myself from hungry boy*

~2 seconds later~

boy- "Yeah I was like just kidding so lolololol"

me- *thumbs up* *or head nod* (insert whatever one sounds cooler)

I've gone to this school for longer than I should admit to the public so I should know my way around by now. Of course my class was in a building I don't often visit (math building, duh) so I forgot where it was! It's a pretty big campus so I spent the first 10 minutes wandering around and looking like a little freshman as I went back and forth to different buildings. Finally I just asked a person who works there where it was. He showed me on a map and then gave me the map even though I told him it was my only class and I was fine without the map. He insisted, I accepted. When he wasn't looking I threw the map away. Thanks anyways kind sir!

I got to the building and there's an inside hub and a bunch of outside classes (like doors on the outside leading to classrooms) So I am pretty sure I circled the outside twice, went inside and asked where my class was, and was instructed that it was one of the outside classes (yeah ok)
He was right.
I found it and I was literally about to open the door when a guy is like "WAIT we don't meet in this room on Tuesday's or Thursday's, we meet in room 125" I waltzed on into room 125 and sat at the front (this forces me to pay attention so I have to sit at the front). Minutes pass and the teacher (aka the guy who led me here in the first place) says,
"Raise your hand if you weren't here yesterday."
I laughed because I thought he was joking and trying to pull a fast one on us to "freak us out" because our class is only on Tuesday & Thursday so obviously this WAS the first day. I turned to the girl next to me and asked if it started today. She said it started yesterday. What??
I looked up my class on my phone and it for sure started TODAY so, what?? Some other girl came in the room looking lost so obviously I secretly listed into their conversation and turns out she was supposed to be in my real class, not this knockoff.
Long story short (or I guess long story a little less long) that teacher led me astray and I was in the wrong room and thennnn I went to the right room and yeah. Also they changed my teacher and didn't tell me! I use ratemyprofessor.com religiously as I plan out my classes so I was kindaaaaa pissed. I had picked someone who had amazing reviews and they give me some random person I didn't research and hand pick??? Come on, school! Luckily, my teacher is actually really awesome and dumbs everything down perfectly. It also helps that I took this class last semester (and dropped it because my teacher was all the bad words in the world) So there you have it. Day 1 of school was nothing less than an adventure. Wish me luck this semester! It's my last class until I have my associates (finally)
