Oh hey!! Father's day was pretty great! I got to spend some quality time with my father in law AND my dad! Both amazing men and both have so much love stuffed inside of them I'm surprised they haven't exploded yet. Seriously. They are so wonderful and I am SO grateful to have them both in my life! Before we went to jason's parents house, I got all gussied up (just wanted to use that phrase so excuse me) and asked J to take a couple pictures! What a guy. Even though taking pictures isn't his very most favorite thing in the world, he did it with a smile. love you j! 

Guys I watched Mask Cara's makeup contouring video last week and I'm obsessed. I have done it a few times and I'm like why did I not do this before? you can do it pretty quick and it makes such a difference! I'm still a newbie at it so if it looks bad to you then please just laugh at me and don't tell me. don't crush my contouring dreams yet! I've also been trying to get all crafty with my hair more lately and actually spend more then .5 seconds on it so thus these dutch braids were born. They are seriously the easiest things to do ever so it's a win win situation.

So our friends at mnmlst watches sent Jason a watch to show off. Jason has a few big brand watches that he loves and he was stoked to add another watch into his collection! As soon as he slipped it on his wrist, it was love. I got to play photographer and take some pictures of him. such a cutie! And can we take a minute to just stare at that necklace I'm wearing? The Land Of Salt makes the cutest and simplest jewelry pieces and I will be showing off a couple more pieces from them, soon!

    I love your kimono and your braids! I know you said they're the easiest things ever but I suck at hair so they basically look like rocket science-level of difficult! Haha.

    Gussied! Hahaha love it! I think the kimono look is so cute, but one time last summer Johns sister wore one and HE STILL talks about it! He thought it was the craziest thing that she would wear a kimono "over her normal clothes" haha. So needless to say, I haven't considered buying one. I'll just live vicariously through people like you ;)

      hahah sometimes I just like to use weird phrases! hahah husbands are so funny!! And I do that with stuff all the time if Jason doesn't really like something I never wear/buy it again! but sometimes I break that rule and Jason ends up not hating it as much as I expect!

    You seriously aced that Dutch braid and your contouring looks great too! My fave is that kimono though. I have been looking for the perfect one but target only has really long ones or sleeveless ones. I need to look somewhere else!
