1. I'm secretly obsessed with eyebrows.
Yes, eyebrows. I have naturally bleach blonde-basically invisible eyebrows and I am always trying to get them perfectly arched & colored a perfect light brown. If you have nice eyebrows, you better believe I am going to tell you. If you tell me that mine are spot on, we are going to be best friends. That's just how it is!
2. I only wash my hair twice a week.
Did you know it's actually healthy to NOT wash your hair everyday? (Whaattttttttt?!!) I know. Don't worry, I shower often (tmi?) (too soon?) but I just pull my hair back and keep my head from getting all messed up and, heaven forbid, cleaned. I promise I'm not the smelly kid in class (skip to 1:06)
3. I'm not actually 14 years old
Contrary to popular belief, I am 23 years old. (WAIT WHAT!!!!) Yeah. 23. years. old. I get asked at least once a week how old I am. And I can totally tell when people think I'm 14 (I'm talking to you, grocery store clerk with the oh so snarky "are you OLD enough to buy that can of glitter spray paint?? oh yeah? let's see that ID of yours" me *hands over ID with a snarky grin* BOOM roasted.)
baby faced diaries can be found here and here
4. Instagram scares me.
I literally get so nervous to post something with just me. A selfie, if you will. I don't know why, I just feel like a picture of me is like "ok cool picture of yourself" Luckily, being married means J is in basically all of my photos. Now, selfies of him? I'm obsessed with those.
5.Green lights stress me out.
Am I the only one? When you're driving and the upcoming light has been green for a little while and you're going, going, going, wondering "is it going to turn yellow?" "will I have time to make it through?" "should I slow down?!" "will I run a red by mistake??" "I don't want to have to slam on my breaks" or the oh so popular "welp, I'm gonna die, it's gonna turn red and I won't be able to stop so I will probably just die" yeah. every.single.time.
and there you have it. 5 Friday confessions. Have some confessions of your own? I just now decided I am going to make a link up with Friday confessions for next week! I may be the only link on that link up but you can't blame a girl for tryin ;)

Candace

I really enjoyed reading this, Candace! :) I also wash my hair twice a week (but I shower every day ;)). I have curly hair so it's quite dry. It doesn't get dirty so I don't need to wash it often.
ReplyDeleteRegarding eyebrows, mine are full and dark and I don't like them that much... I can't dye my hair much lighter than my natural color because I don't like the contrast white hair/dark eyebrows.

thank you so so much for dropping by!! xo
DeleteI love your confessions! I only wash my hair once a week and I'm totally not ashamed.
ReplyDeleteAs for eyebrows, I know what blonde invisible eyebrows are like. I spend FOREVER trying to make mine perfect and I want to high five myself when they look so good.
And I was carded to buy a permanent marker at Hobby Lobby just the other day.. I'm 25 but I'm always being asked if I'm still in high school.

haha eyebrows will be the death of me, it's official! But at least they'll look decent ;) yay baby faces!
DeleteI love these confessions! So many people for the longest time thought I was 10 years younger then I actually am. I think having a child with me might have aged me a bit, but I still have that baby face.
ReplyDeleteI always think people are going to be like "why does she post pics of just herself"...I can never actually go through with it LOL
I pretty much have the same stress as you when it comes to red lights, I always look at the crosswalk sign to help me figure out if it will be changing soon. HAHA
:) baby faces unite! Selfies are so intimidating for sure!! checking the cross walks is my saving grace haha!!
DeleteI understand number 3. I have a nearly 2 year old and I get asked if I'm the Nanny ALL the time. I'm 27.
ReplyDeleteno way!! hahah I nanny 2 kids and sometimes people will get all snarky and ask "those can't be YOUR kids, right?!"
DeleteI understand number 3. I have a nearly 2 year old and I get asked if I'm the Nanny ALL the time. I'm 27.

DeleteGreen lights also stress me out! And I'm 27 and get asked what high school I go to ALL THE TIME. Also, I only wash my hair twice a week :)
ReplyDeletehahaha yay baby faces!! I'm sure we will love it when we're older (or at least that's what they tell me ;) )
DeleteI only wash my hair twice a week two. I used to do it every other day but it's so time consuming and makes my scalp too dry!

I totally agree! it is so much healthier for your hair to wash it as little as possible
DeleteI totally get stressed when the light's green when I approach it, I don't want to go too fast nor to suddenly stop!
ReplyDeleteAnd I also wash my hair just twice a week. At first I looked completely disgusting but after a year I can say I'd rather do it this way: I have better hair, shinier and with a lot less dandruff!
I totally agree!! and hair is so much healthier when it isn't washed so much :) I love it!
DeleteI just started obsessing about my eyebrows - not a good start lol haha!
ReplyDeletePink Blush GIVEAWAY on Happy Medley Blog
haha it has taken me a LOT of practice but I am pretty happy with how I do them now :)
Deletethank you for dropping by :)
ReplyDeleteUm, I agree with pretty much all of this. Except, sadly, I can't get away with only washing my hair twice a week. It gets greasy so fast. Every other day is my max.
ReplyDeleteAlso, teach me how to join the perfect eyebrows club?
What a cute posting idea! I only wash my hair a couple times a week also (eek!) I love the texture my dirtier hair has & even when it's freshly washed, I load up on salt spray & dry shampoo!

Oh I totally get stressed out about green lights! I never know whether to slow down or speed up. I actually like when I see the light turn red when I'm a little ways back because at least I know what to do in that situation! I wish I could wash my hair less than I do. It tends to get greasy fairly quickly, but I'm trying to make my hair adapt to less washes a week. I think dry shampoo will become my best friend!
